HQ Status

Once you have achieved HQ status, you will receive a letter from WCACP that you can present to the districts/schools stating that you are Highly Qualified to teach in the classroom.

School districts must have Highly Qualified teachers in their classroom. To obtain a Highly Qualified status you must pass your TExES Content Exam and PPR Exam, complete your fingerprints, complete 30 observation hours, and complete module 1 in the WCACP curriculum. The HQ letter is a huge asset to your application for a teaching job.
